Leading the Way
The Homewood Center Post Secondary Committee who focuses on supporting students to be better prepared for after high school by providing a wide range of post-secondary options including trade/technical school, armed forces, college and work. We are intentional by using student voice to expose students to in school speakers, fields trips, access to time with staff and sharing resources outside the school building.

Requesting a Transcript - Whether you plan to go to college, join the military, or head directly into the workforce, you may be asked to supply your high school transcripts. Click for more information.
Community College - Community colleges are public, two-year institutions that allow students to earn an Associate’s Degree, complete coursework that can be used toward a four-year degree, earn a professional certificate, and complete workforce training. Click for more information.
Military Service - High School graduates have the option to join the U.S. military and gain career training, health and retirement benefits, housing benefits, and tuition support. Click here for more information.
Trade Schools and Apprenticeship Programs - Trade schools are designed to train students for a specific job in a skilled trade career. Trade school offers hands-on training to prepare students for actual work in their chosen field. Click here for more information.
