LRHS Cares & Grace Community Church's Spring & Summer Clothing Giveaway: Saturday March 29th 9 - 11AM *Lines may form at 7:30 AM - Free and gently used clothes, jackets, and shoes at Long Reach High School located at 6101 Old Dobbin Lane, Columbia, MD 21045.
Homewood is working with Vision to Learn, a mobile vision van service, to arrange a visit for students to receive eye exams and glasses. Medicaid may be billed but there will be no out of pocket cost for families.
If you are interested in having your child participate, please complete the registration information here and return the attached form to the health room ASAP. If you have questions, you can reach the health room at 410-313-5665.
Does Your Student Need A Prom Dress? Check Out Becca's Closet on March 29th from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Atholton High School Cafeteria - Becca's Closet is a dress giveaway event where attendees will be able to shop for dresses, shoes, and accessories just in time for prom season!
DCRS Family Pre-loved Event: March 29, 9 - 12 PM - The DCRS Family Pre-Loved Event is back just in time for spring and summer! Everyone knows pre-loved items are seriously the best! Families or individuals in the community are invited to pick out items such as toys, books, kids/baby items, and clothes for all ages and much more. The event will be first come, first served and will be held at 9830 Patuxent Woods Dr. Columbia, MD 21046. Homewood is partnering with the Roving Radish to provide FREE Produce and Access to Homewood Center's Pantry along with an opportunity to receive a $40 Roving Radish Gift Card renewable for up to $240. Additionally, we welcome all Homewood students and families to meet with Howard County Office of Workforce Development representatives to learn about all of their supports and services available to Howard County residents!
